On Friday my students made me the proudest teacher in Navrongo! I was excited to see 7 of my students compete in our CBS Speech competition.

One student, Linda, stood out to me because of just how far she has come. In the first class assignment in she could not talk without laughing nervously in front of the other students, but on Friday she won our 15-20 age group speech competition. She memorized her speech, stood with boldness and confidence, and spoke clearly.

We had three winners, and about 25 spectators. After seeing my students do so well on Friday I was smiling all day long.
